HIGH VOLTAGE is
New York's #1 AC/DC Tribute Band.
Formed in the spring of
'94,
they have chosen to bring back that classic
era of AC/DC's music history that sometimes gets forgotten - (the Bon Scott
years). Although several bands cover AC/DC songs, no band seems to concentrate
on the great heavy blues-rock that was present on those first six classic AC/DC
albums. That music is still very prominent and influential to a countless number
of today's popular rock artists.
HIGH VOLTAGE offers more than justice with its
authenticity to AC/DC than any other tribute band does. They cover all of the
popular hits from Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, but also dig deep into rare album
tracks to please AC/DC's most loyal fans with tracks such as; "Ride
On", "Riff
Raff", "Squealer", "Get It Hot", "What's Next To The Moon ", "Night Prowler" and many
others. Lead singer John "Bon" Cook not only has one of the most powerful voices
on the East coast, but his knowledge of AC/DC and Bon Scott is untouchable as he
always offers bits of trivial information about the late icon and the band
during the show. Although his specialty is Bon Scott, John can also cover
Bon's replacement, Brian Johnson, as good as anyone. Trying to cover both Bon
and Brian's vocals may be the hardest singing job in the music business. He will
also look the part of each singer respectively with fake tattoos, sleeveless
denim jacket and assorted hats. While doing Brian Johnson songs, John does the
famous fist clenching low-profile stance as the band tears though crowd
favorites like; "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Back in Black", "Hells Bells",
and "Thunderstruck".
HIGH VOLTAGE offers the full live stage show including Donnie B. in his Angus school boy
outfit playing a Gibson SG through the classic Marshall amplification for unbelievably
precise Angus classic sound. Other members of the band are: Lee Starr on bass, Mike Dell' Olio on
rhythm guitar. Tommy
Reeder on drums. High Voltage gives 110% of sweat drenched energy at every
performance! See the show and
find out why so many people can't get enough of them!
- LET THERE BE ROCK!
