How the Program Works
Step 1: Diagnostic Analysis - We will send you a test to
measure your current knowledge of the GED tests’ six subject areas.
We will analyze the results and suggest a detailed plan for the next
steps in working towards your GED.
Step 2: Specific recommendations for preparing for the GED test
(see the menu of Instructional Targeted Skill Boosters
(ITSB)
Instructional Target Skill Boosters (ITSBs) are designed to increase
the level of proficiency in specific subject areas.
The modules are self-paced. Each module has a pre-assessment to
determine targeted needs of the student and a post-assessment to
demonstrate improvement. Essay development is included.
Step 3: Calculator Instructional Package - Part 1 of the GED
math test allows the use of a calculator. There is only one acceptable
calculator that can be used for the GED test. With this package you
will receive:
An official calculator.
A calculator book of directions for the use of the calculator.
Student questions concerning calculator operation can also be answered
by teacher via e-mail.
Step 4: Advisement on signing up for a GED test in your area.
Final Practice GED test and evaluation of your essay. Tips are
provided for locating the closest GED testing center and for
registering for the GED test.
